How this is worked out
We take every comparable listing from the last six months — same model, same year, and the same variant and city where we have enough of them — and report the middle price along with the range the middle half falls in.
We use the middle figure rather than the average because one seller asking three times the going rate moves an average and does not move the middle. Where fewer than six comparable vehicles exist we show nothing at all, because a confident number drawn from two listings is worse than no number.
These are asking prices. We know what sellers list vehicles at, not what buyers finally pay, and in Pakistan those are rarely the same figure. Use this to decide where to start, not what to expect.
